Although the picture doesn''t nearly do it justice, here's yet another reason why I love living in this crazy city... H&R Block put on a drum core / break dance show outside their newest location this morning (just a block from my office), presumably to start off the tax season, with flyers & balloons & free coffee. Who does that?!Who cares. All I know is that I loved walking up from the subway and hearing the drums (which sent me back over a decade to high school marching band days) and then seeing these performers dance it out for a tax company. Performance + Commerce + Free Hand Outs... so common in NYC and yet I still enjoy it all.
