KNITTING BOOK CLUB

Tonight was the first meeting of our Knitting Book Club: a group of 8 delightful women who like to knit and read and chat... and feel cooler by being part of a club :)

The first book we've decided to read: LET THE GREAT WORLD SPIN by Colum McCann. The synopsis: In the dawning light of a late-summer morning, the people of lower Manhattan stand hushed, staring up in disbelief at the Twin Towers. It is August 1974, and a mysterious tightrope walker is running, dancing, leaping between the towers, suspended a quarter mile above the ground. In the streets below, a slew of ordinary lives become extraordinary in bestselling novelist Colum McCann’s stunningly intricate portrait of a city and its people.

For our next meeting at the end of February perhaps we'll have to rename it the Knitting Book Club Plus Baby!

  1. If I were you, I'd try to finish reading that book before Grace arrives... I heard she's coming on January 25th!
